A brief breakdown of what you can expect once you have signed with an agency

• Most models will be required to participate in a portfolio test shoot arranged by the agency, if you do not already have professional images.
• Expect to be asked questions, agents want to know what you are wanting to achieve in the industry, be clear of your vision and steps in order to attain that vision.
• Agents will expect you to be punctual. If you have an appointment, always be early. If you are late, you will immediately be seen as unprofessional and agents will be hesitant to accept you, because for the actual modelling jobs you cannot be late. 
• Expect to be given modelling training and courses if you are accepted. You need to learn about the modeling industry and the way that particular agency works. Even if you are changing agents, you may be required to do a refresher course. This is to ensure that all models are fully prepared, trained and ready to make the agency look good. 
• Expect to be told to do certain things, agents will sometimes request a hair change, or for you to gain or lose weight.
